Codruț de pluș

Not a pattern writer, but here goes my second try a few years away from my first attempt at writing a pattern. I was blessed with this beautiful dog that was in my life for 8 years only. He was and forever be the sweetest boy out there. Now I'm trying to keep his memory alive - for me at least. I've searched some patterns, but they didn't work for me, so I said to myself, I should try and make one from scratch. It's a plushie. a dog plushie. Perhaps it's not perfect, but for me, it is. Here's Codruț

I've used a velvet yarn, it is named Bunny Baby. Crochet size required for this sort of yarn, 4,5 mm.
Also, another type of yarn, cotton based, that I used for the eyes.

Anyway, let's start with the muzzle.

Muzzle

Black yarn - A
Beige yarn - B
1. B - Magic Ring (MR)
2. 5 sc in the MR, slst
3. Chain 1, 1 sc in the same stitch, 4 inc all around, slst (10sts).
4. B - chain 1, sc in the same st, 1sc, 1 inc., A - 1sc, 1 inc, B - 1sc, 1 inc, 1 sc, 1 inc, 1 sc (15sts)
5. B - chain 1, 3 sc, A - 5 sc, B - 6sc, slst (15 sts)

So, Now all it's left to do is sewing it together, all the parts. Plus, I've made some details above his eyes and in his cheeks. This is my final result:

Fox slippers

This is my first pattern, so bear with me. I have searched a fox slippers pattern, but couldn't actually find anything that I really liked. The idea of crocheting something like that occured in that moment in which I realised a friend's birthday was coming up.i had to give her a present anyway and she loves foxes. So I tried something for so many times until I came up with my own model which I wanna share for free with others crochet addicts.

Body:
I used a 4 mm hook for the slippers' "body":
Start with a magic ring.
1: 8 dc in the magic ring, slst at the end
2: chain 3, dc in the same st, 2dc in the next stitches. slst.
3: chain 3, dc in the same st, *2 dc in the next st, 1 dc in the next st* repeat * to *. Slst.
4-11: chain 3, 1 dc in every st, slst.
12: turn, ch 3, 23 dc in next sts, slst and turn. Repeat this row for the next 17 rows.
The last row of the slipper: ch3, 9 dc in the next 9 sts (10st), dc4tog, 10 dc in the next st. At this point you show fold the last row in half and fasten off. Aaand this part is done.

Tail:
1: ch8. 1hdc in the 2nd st from hook, 1 hdc in next 5 sts (6hdc); turn
2: ch1, 1 hdc in the same st, 1 hdc in the next 4 sts (6hdc)
3 and 4: turn and ch1, 1 hdc in the same st, 1 hdc in the next 5 sts (7hdc)
5-8: turn, ch1, 1 hdc in the same st, 1 hdc in the next 6 sts.
9-15: turn, ch 1, 1 hdc in the same st, 1 hdc in the next 7 sts (9hdc)

32: turn and 1 slst. Fasten off and that's the tail.

Nose:

Chain 5, turn, sc in the third chain from the hook, sc in the next two ch. Fasten off.

Ok, so until now we have a big part for what we want to do. We still need to make the eyes and the ears for which I only made some drawings:

For the eyes please use only white yarn.

So, now that we have all the parts for the slippers we just have to sew them on the "body". Before you sew the eyes, you can sew on top of them what form do you want them. The tail should be sewed as if it's the slippers straps. I also sewed on a button on the opposite side, then I made a little strap on the inside of the tail, so the main strap can be used properly. The whole thing looks like this:
